SASSA GURL SMOKEY MANALOTO EUGENE DOMINGO TAKESHIS CASTLE

Sassa Gurl, Eugene Domingo, and Smokey Manaloto will host the "Takeshi's Castle" reboot!

Prime Video announced the news on Monday, saying the Filipino version of the rebooted Japanese game show will begin streaming this month,

Smokey Manaloto, who was an original host back when the silly game show first aired in the Philippines back in the '80s, is returning to the "Takeshi's Castle" universe as a former employee of Takeshi. Much like before, he will take care of the funny, snarky commentary into the game.

Sassa Gurl meanwhile will play her authentic self, ensuring that fans, followers, and new viewers are in for a treat with her magnetic energy.

Eugene Domingo will represent the resident chismosa, playing the marites of the group.

Jun Sabayton will join the cast as Shitake, a henchman of Takeshi.

Each episode will features guest-star commentators including Maris Racal, Zanjoe Marudo, and Ketchup Eusebio.

Who is playing Takeshi, you might ask? We don't know yet as Prime Video left out the most important character in its announcement.

We do know however that "Takeshi's Castle" will serve the same hilarious game show concept, localized and made relevant thanks to its cast.

The "Takeshi's Castle" reboot will have 8 episodes. It will begin streaming on Prime Video come November 16.
