Rhian Ramos joins 'Sang'gre' cast as Mitena, Cassiopeia's twin

According to a report by Nelson Canlas on “24 Oras,” Friday, “Encantadia” fans have long recognized Haring Hagorn as the series' cruelest villain. As the story continues to unfold, viewers will also be introduced to Mitena.
“Isa siyang Ice Queen so I believe that it has something to do with that. Pero may mga makukuha din kasi akong kapangyarihan along the way so madadagdagan nang madadagdagan,” Rhian said.
[She is an Ice Queen, so I believe it has something to do with that. But I will also gain some powers along the way, so they will keep increasing.]
Mitena is the twin sister of Cassiopeia, a character played by Solenn Heussaff in the series that aired in 2016. Cassiopeia is the first queen of Lireo, who divided the Mother Gem into five separate parts or elements.
“Hindi lang kapatid but I am her twin, sabay kaming isinilang sa mundo ng ‘Encantadia.’ Kung iniisip niyo na encantadia lang ang nag-iisang world, marami pang mga iba't ibang area. Ang magiging area ko, or lugar ko, is ang ang Mineave, which is North,” Rhian said.
[Not just siblings, but I am her twin, both born into the world of 'Encantadia.' If you're thinking that 'Encantadia' is the only world, there are many other different areas. My area, or my place, is called Mineave, which is in the North.]
She also shared that she and Solenn have already talked about the role.
“Well, nung una, actually, tinatanong ko, pinapa-confirm ko sa kanya na ‘Uy, talaga ba? Totoo ba?’ Kasi nung una, chika pa lang eh, hindi pa nako-confirm sa’kin. So sabi ko, ‘Totoo ba na magkapatid tayo, magkakakambal tayo sa ‘Sang’gre’ and babalik ka ba as your character?’” she said.
[Well, at first, actually, I was asking, I was confirming with her, 'Hey, is it true? Is it real?' Because at first, it was just a rumor, it wasn't confirmed to me yet. So I said, 'Is it true that we're siblings, that we're twins in 'Sang'gre,' and are you coming back as your character?]
“Nung una hindi pa niya kino-confirm, pero nung nagkita na kami nung Halloween, yes, it’s true at nag-Cassiopeia pa siya as her costume,” Rhian added.
[At first, she wasn't confirming it, but when we saw each other on Halloween, yes, it's true, and she even dressed up as Cassiopeia for her costume.]
Last month, the first star of the series, Bianca Umali, was revealed to play the role of Danaya’s daughter, named “Terra,” who will become the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Lupa.
Following this announcement, it was also revealed that Faith Da Silva, Angel Guardian, and Kelvin Miranda will complete the quartet of Sang’gres.
Direk Mark Reyes also confirmed that Rocco Nacino will reprise his role as “Aquil” in “Sang’gre: Encantadia Chronicles” when it finally airs in 2024.
