Jackie Lou Blanco is still not over Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion's reunion concert
Two days later, Jackie Lou Blanco is still on a high from Dear Heart, the Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion reunion concert.
The actress posted a set of photos and videos from the show on Instagram, and called it “such a beautiful trip down memory lane.”
Jackie Lou got nostalgic in her caption, saying she saw Sharon and Gabby’s relationship during their early days.
“Kilig ako when I was a witness to their young love [blossoming] then. Hanggang ngayon kilig pa din ako. The magic was there from the beginning. At hindi nawala yun,” she said.
“I enjoyed all the songs pero syempre ‘My Only Love’ holds a special place in my heart,” Jackie Lou added. It is also the title of their first movie together.
She congratulated her longtime friend. “So happy I was there to witness your special night. I am not only your friend but always was and will always be your biggest fan. [Love you],” she said.
Jackie Lou and Sharon have long been friends since the '80s. In February, they even released a song and music video titled “Friends” last February.
Jackie Lou is also part of the cast of “A Mother and Son’s Story,” top-billed by Sharon and Alden Richards.
Sharon and Gabby reunited for a sold-out concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 27. The former on- and off-screen partners are set to bring the Dear Heart reunion concert to Cebu on November 17.
The former couple’s only child KC Concepcion called the concert “a fairytale come true.”
Prior to the show, Sharon and Gabby teased fans by slow dancing to “Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko,” posting some sweet photos, and hinting at tear-jerking performances.
