Kris Aquino reunites with Boy Abunda in California
“It was a heartwarming reunion," Kris Aquino shared on Instagram as she posted photos of her meeting with long-time friend, Boy Abunda.
In the same post, Kris shared that Boy “freaked out” during his visit because she needed a shot and the King of Talk hates needles.
“Nagkwento pa lang ako ng pinagdadaanan kong mga treatment at ‘yung at least 18 pieces of vitamins, supplements, as well as medicine to help prevent my migraines and protect my liver because of my chemotherapy and of course, my antihistamines…parang the whole three hours Boy was here he was stopping himself from crying pero bumigay din sya talaga.”
[As I was narrating my ongoing treatment journey and the at least 18 different vitamins, supplements, and medications I take to manage my migraines and protect my liver due to chemotherapy, as well as my antihistamines... it seemed like the entire three hours Boy was here, he was trying to hold back tears, but eventually, he couldn't help but get emotional.]
The Queen of All Media is currently in the United States for treatment related to her autoimmune conditions.
Despite the physical distance, Kris and Boy have remained close friends, dispelling any rumors of a falling out between them.
Kris also expressed her gratitude to Boy saying, “Boy never asked for anything pero sa laki ng utang na loob naming sa kanya, (the entire time he managed me for my endorsements as long as it was with my sons his commission was only from my 50%, buong buo for my 2 yung talent fee- lugi nga ako kasi yung 32-35% na tax sagot ko, bilin yun ng mom) binigay ko ng buong buo yung medyo naputol ng ilang beses na footage.”

Kris hinted at sharing this footage with the public soon, starting her post with "ABANGAN!" Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste shot the video using her phone, with her son Bimby asking the questions.
Speculation about Kris and Mark getting back together started on October 18, when Kris shared photos and videos with actress Kim Chiu. She mentioned that Kim's sister coordinated the visit through Mark.
Kris concluded her post with a heartfelt birthday message for Boy, who will be celebrating his birthday on Sunday, October 29.
"Happy Birthday (Oct 29) to the keeper of all my secrets, the one who assured me that he would be there for my sons no matter what, and the friend who continues to stand by my side in all battles. To my other brother, I love you wholeheartedly," she said.
