KC Concepcion posts photos with parents, says she is thankful for 'silver linings'

KC Concepcion took her followers on a trip down memory lane as she shared throwback photos with her parents, Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion, three days before their much-awaited reunion concert.

On Instagram, KC shared their old photos together, along with some handwritten notes and doodles from younger KC.

"Sometimes talaga a fairytale will remain as a fairytale na lamang… Pero that’s okay!" she wrote in the caption, and said that she’s grateful for their "silver linings" in life.

She continued, "Imagine, 3 days na lang at magsasama na sila Mama and Papa in a musical celebration after so many years… May ganito pa palang pwedeng mangyari!!!"

"Fairytale come true pa rin naman, di ba?" KC added with kissing face and star emojis.

In the letter younger KC wrote for Sharon, she said she hopes her papa will stay with them "so we will be a complete family like what you said in your letter."

KC touched her followers with the heartwarming post, including fellow celebrities Iza Calzado, Ruffa Gutierrez, and Geneva Cruz.

Sharon and Gabby’s "Dear Heart" concert will happen at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 27, followed by another show at the NUSTAR Convention Center in Cebu City on November 17.

Sharon and Gabby first starred in the feature film "Dear Heart" in 1981 and then became a top pairing on- and off-screen. They got married at the Manila Cathedral in 1984 but were legally separated in 1987.

In 1993, Sharon and Gabby’s marriage was annulled.

They have one daughter, KC. They previously reunited for a kilig-filled commercial in 2018. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
