Sunshine Cruz, Cesar Montano in talks for possible reunion film

Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano have reunited plenty of times in real-life, but the ex-couple may just have an on-stage and on-screen reunion very soon.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Cesar said he and Sunshine have been invited to perform in shows abroad.

There is also a proposal for them to work on a film together, but the veteran actor is still mum on the details.

"Excited ako, excited kami pareho. Hindi ko lang masabi 'yung title saka 'yung story," he said. "But you're gonna like it. It's a dramedy, first time na hindi action."

Sunshine and Cesar first worked together in 1999 film "Bullet." They married a year later and had three children: Angelina, Sam, and Chesca.

The couple separated 2013 and their marriage was annulled in 2018.

Sunshine and Cesar reconciled recently. They reunited on Sam's 18th birthday last year and on her graduation last May.

They also rang in 2023 with their blended family, including Cesar's current partner Kath Angeles and their children, as well as his son Diego Loyzaga.
