Alden Richards, Direk Irene Villamor grateful for support on 'Five Breakups and a Romance'
Alden Richards and screenwriter and film director Irene Villamor are filled with gratitude following the support and feedback on “Five Breakups and a Romance.”
In an Instagram Live session, Alden showed that he, Direk Irene, and the film’s promo team celebrated the film’s success with wine and a steak dinner. They were headed to a screening afterwards.
“Nandito kami para of course, para magpasalamat sa lahat ng mga nakanood ng first day namin,” Alden said.
“We’re very happy with the feedback po ng karamihan," he added. "And maraming, maraming salamat din po dahil nagdagdag tayo ng sinehan.”
Alden added that the film is now screening in 242 cinemas nationwide.
“So sa mga nakanood, sa mga hindi pa nakakanood, at sa mga gusto pa ulit manood, at masaktan pa nang paulitulit.”
Direk Irene said, “Maraming, maraming salamat.”
Alden also gave shoutouts to his supporters, and he and Direk Irene answered questions and read reviews.
“Five Breakups and a Romance” follows Lance and Justine (Julia Montes) who show the beautiful and painful realities of being in a relationship throughout eight years. Alden and Julia had some strong scenes, such as an intense fight and a hot kiss.
"Five Breakups and a Movie" first made entertainment headlines last April when news broke that Julia and Alden will headline their first film together.
Alden previously starred in the top GMA Network series “Start-Up PH.”
