Rita Daniela fangirls over her 'idol' Claudine Barretto
Rita Daniela was one happy fangirl when she learned that Claudine Barretto is all set to have a teleserye with GMA Network.
The Kapuso Undeniable Star posted moments from a recent meetup at Dr. Ralph Figaroa Delas Alas’ birthday party.
“[One] of my dreams came true when [I] saw you at @dr.rfdsmile’s [birthday] tapos may picture pa at konting kwentuhan!! [Grabe],” Rita said in her Instagram caption.
The singer and actress added, “so so happy to know that [you] will be doing a serye with @gmanetwork!!”
She said that Claudine is one of her acting influences.
“[Isa] ka po sa tinitingala ko bilang aktres. [Hope] to work with [you], idol! @claubarretto congratulations again,” Rita said.
Claudine said in the comments section, “Aww[,] so sweet[.]”
It was revealed on Thursday's episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” is returning to GMA primetime in the upcoming series “Lovers & Liars.”
According to Boy, Claudine's series will replace "Unbreak My Heart."
Other details, including the series' release date and other cast members, have yet to be revealed.
Claudine last appeared in GMA Telebabad in 2011 for the series "Iglot."
Meanwhile, Rita sang the official theme song of “Love Before Sunrise,” titled “From Afar.” She is also set to perform with her fellow top Kapuso singers for the concert, Queendom: Live.
Rita is also focusing on her role as a mom to her son, Uno.
