Barbie Forteza, David Licauco pose for first magazine shoot as BarDa in Hong Kong

Barbie Forteza and David Licauco recently flew somewhere overseas for a project, and their destination was finally revealed: Hong Kong!

According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, Team BarDa had a shoot for a glossy fashion magazine in HK.

"I'm very happy and thrilled na finally we'll do a cover shoot," Barbie said.

"Nakakatuwa lang na ngayon kinuha kami as BarDa," the Kapuso Primetime Princess added. "It's an honor s'yempre, and to shoot it in Hong Kong, big plus na 'yun."

David, meanwhile, said they are grateful for the opportunity to do a pictorial all the way in Hong Kong.

"Alam naman natin mahirap magdala ng mga artista ulit mag-shoot sa Hong Kong kaya big deal 'yun sa 'min," said the Pambansang Ginoo.

Barbie and David currently star in "Maging Sino Ka Man," a television remake of the iconic '90s film of the same name starring Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.

Their love team was formed last year when their pairing in "Maria Clara at Ibarra" as Fidel and Klay—aka Team FiLay—became a hit to fans.

BarDa also has an upcoming movie titled "That Kind of Love," which has some scenes shot in South Korea.

Barbie and David also starred in "Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko: Lady and Luke" and the music video for the Ben&Ben cover of Christian Bautista's "The Way You Look At Me."

Before "Maria Clara at Ibarra," Barbie and David worked together in "Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune" and "Heartful Cafe."

"Maging Sino Ka Man" airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras."
