Khalil Ramos, Maris Racal's 'Simula sa Gitna' series unveils official poster

Khalil Ramos and Maris Racal’s newest project is a spin-off series of the well-loved 2018 film “Hintayan ng Langit!”

Titled “Simula Sa Gitna,” the series also stars Dolly De Leon, Jane Oineza, Meann Espinosa, and Adrian Lindayag.

On Thursday, the series unveiled its official poster, showing Khalil and Maris inside an elevator with the going-up button lit up.

The series is written and directed by the multi-awarded filmmaker Antoinette Jadaone under her production company, Project 8.

The stars first teased the project in March.

"Hintayan ng Langit" was released in 2018 and starred Gina Pareño and the late Eddie Garcia.

Gina played Lisang, a woman who died due to diabetes and has been in purgatory for two years. Her ex-boyfriend, Manolo, played by Eddie, then enters the picture. They get reacquainted and later reveal their pasts and why they did not end up together.

“Simula Sa Gitna” will start streaming on Prime Video on November 2.
