Bea Alonzo says she accidentally slapped Dennis Trillo for real in 'Love Before Sunrise'

Bea Alonzo revealed that she accidentally slapped Dennis Trillo for real in one of their scenes in "Love Before Sunrise."

In an interview with GMA Integrated News, the Kapuso actress said she had to apologize to Dennis as her slap was really hard.

In the series, Bea and Dennis have a lot of emotional scenes as soulmates whose love happens at the wrong time.

"Sobrang lakas ng pagsampal ko sa kanya merong red ang mukha niya. 'Sorry talaga,' sabi niya 'OK lang at least na-release mo,'" Bea said.

Actors usually employ various techniques for slapping scenes so they do not hurt their co-stars. Jean Garcia, for example, avoids wearing any accessories.

"Love Before Sunrise" is a collaboration between GMA Network and Viu Philippines. It also stars Andrea Torres, Sid Lucero, Rodjun Cruz, Vince Maristela, Vaness del Moral, Sef Cadayona, Jackie Lou Blanco, and more.

It airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad at 8:50 p.m. after "Maging Sino Ka Man."
