Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega enjoy Rey Valera songs in date night
Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega just went retro for their latest date night.
The Sparkle stars attended the "Istorya ni Rey Valera" show at the Music Museum in San Juan City on Saturday.
On Instagram, the two shared photos and videos of them enjoying the performances from the OPM legend.
"Someone surprised me with Rey Valera tickets tonight!" Ysabel wrote in her post, thanking and tagging Miguel.
"Old school songs for tonight's date," the actor said in his post.
Both Miguel and Ysabel posted clips of Rey singing "Maging Sino Ka Man," Sharon Cuneta's song in the iconic '90s film of the same name.
In an interview with "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Rey said he wrote the song while hiding in a cemetery to escape his chores at home.
In the "Maging Sino Ka Man" series remake, which stars Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, Hannah Precillas performed her own rendition of the theme song.
Rey is also the singer-songwriter behind popular OPM songs "Mr. DJ," "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo," and "Naaalala Ka."
Meanwhile, Miguel and Ysabel recently starred as Steve Armstrong and Jamie Robinson in "Voltes V: Legacy."
Miguel previously admitted that he is courting Ysabel.
