Jessica Soho attends Asia Contents Awards and Global OTT Awards
Jessica Soho attended the 28th Asia Contents Awards and Global OTT Awards in Busan, South Korea, for "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS)," which was nominated for Best Reality and Variety for the episode "Sugat ng Pangungulila."
On Sunday, the award-winning journalist walked the event's red carpet wearing a a Terno top of Filipino-inspired textile over a black dress. She was accompanied by members of the KMJS team.
KMJS was the only Filipino program to receive a nomination in the said category.
South Korea won the award for "Physical: 100" and Vietnam for Vietnam's "Let's Feast Vietnam," but Soho and her team clearly had the best fun at Busan, where they met several K-drama stars, including Lim Ji Yeon, who won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the Netflix series "The Glory."
Soho also met "Moving" stars Ryu Seung Ryong, Lee Jung Ha, and Karishma Tanna.
"Sugat ng Pangungulila" tells the story of Daylyn, an OFW mother in Singapore, whose son Daxen was left behind in Antique with an undiagnosed skin disease. The story earlier won a Gold World Medal from this year's New York Festivals.
