Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, and Boobay's show in Tel Aviv, Israel has been cancelled amid the recent attacks by Palestinian group Hamas.

The show, "Luv Trip Na, Laff Trip Pa," was supposed to be held at the Smolarz Auditorium at Tel Aviv University.

On Instagram, Sparkle said that the whole Sparkle team will leave for Manila as scheduled.

"In view of the recent reports we are getting from Tel Aviv, the management of Sparkle would like to announce that Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Boobay and the Sparkle Team who are currently in Israel now for a concert are all safe."

"We thank everyone for their well wishes as we pray for their continued safety and protection."

Hamas launched the attack on Saturday, firing rockets from Gaza and sending gunmen into Israeli towns. Hundreds have been killed as Israeli troops fought against the militants.

Over 24,000 Filipinos are currently in Israel. They have been urged to take precautions amid the attacks.

The Philippine Embassy is already closed until further notice due to the security situation.

According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, no Filipino casualties have been reported so far.

Meanwhile, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration is monitoring the situation of around 200 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) based in Gaza.
