Moira Dela Torre is the only Filipino nominated at the MTV EMAs

Moira Dela Torre is the only Filipino nominated at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs), joining fellow artists in the Best Asia category.

Other nominated acts are K-Pop group TREASURE, Thai actor and singer Bright, Japanese boyband Be:First, and Indonesian singer and actress Tiara Andini.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has the most nominations in this year's MTV EMAs with seven nods, including Best Artist, Best Song, and Best Video both for “Anti-Hero.”

Voting has begun at the MTV EMAs website and will run until October 31. The MTV EMAs happens on November 5.  

Moira was featured in Jamie Miller’s song, “Maybe Next Time,” released in July.

Another recent release from Moira is “Hilom” from the soundtrack of “Unbreak My Heart.”

More of her hit songs include “Paubaya,” “ikaw at sila,” and “Tagpuan.”

Moira has also toured the world and the Philippines this year, and is set to release a new album.
