Sandara Park reveals having kept her BF a secret to avoid being talked 'about forever'
Sandara Park revealed she previously had a boyfriend but chose to keep it private because if people knew, "they will talk about it forever."
In Luis Manzano’s vlog on Tuesday, the K-Pop idol said she never revealed anything about her love life because it was hard to be an open book as a public figure.
“After 20 years, umalis ako ng [Pilipinas] mga 2007, and I never revealed about my love life kasi gusto ko private lang,” Sandara told Luis in the vlog titled “Luis listens to Sandara Park.”
“Syempre, nagkaroon din ako ng boyfriend,” she added.
[Of course I had a boyfriend.]
According to Sandara, she was avoiding to be the topic of “chismis” by keeping some things to herself privately.
“Kasi when I reveal my love life, lahat tayo ‘di ba, we can date, we can breakup, pero hay nako, kung nalaman ng mga tao, they will talk about it forever,” she said.
[If I reveal my love life — all of us can can date, we breakup, but if people found out about my love life, they will talk about it forever.]
Sandara also shared that aside from supporting her friends’ concerts in the Philippines, she keeps returning to the country for Filipino food, which is hardly the same as what they have in South Korea.
“Syempre yung mga food, sinigang na hipon, sisig, pinakbet,” she said.
After releasing her self-titled EP, Sandara said her next dream is to go on tour for it.
“Before, ang dream ko lang is to release my own album, pero ngayon ang dream ko is to have a tour,” she said.
“Hindi naman do’n sa mga arena levels, kahit ‘yung maliit lang na venue, gusto ko mag tour again kasi may mga fans pa rin ako all over the world,” she added.
[It doesn't have to be in arenas, performing in small venues would be great. I want to be able to tour again to see my fans all over the world.]
Sandara recently flew to the Philippines to support Bambam in his first solo concert in the Philippines, which was held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The K-Pop superstar also guested on “It’s Showtime” performed in the concert, Awake: A New Beginning in Cebu.
