Barbie Forteza to pay tribute to Sharon Cuneta's 'Maging Sino Ka Man' disguise

Barbie Forteza is set to pay tribute to Sharon Cuneta in an upcoming "Maging Sino Ka Man" episode!

Barbie's character Monique is currently in disguise as a man named Dino, and he will join a beauty contest in the series.

In Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Barbie said "Maging Sino Ka Man" will use this opportunity to incorporate Sharon's role in the original film.

"You will see Digna, ang original disguise persona ni Ms. Sharon Cuneta," the Kapuso Primetime Princess said.

Sharon first played Monique in the '90s film which also starred Robin Padilla. Unlike Barbie's Monique who pretends to be a man, Sharon's Monique simply pretended to be someone else by adding a mole on her face.

Barbie currently stars with David Licauco in "Maging Sino Ka Man," which also stars Juancho Triviño, Jean Garcia, Mikoy Morales, Faith Da Silva, ER Ejercito, Jeric Raval, Rain Matienzo, and more.

The special limited series airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also livestreamed on the GMA Network YouTube channel and GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream.
