Mikoy Morales says he didn't approve of Paul Salas for BFF Mikee Quintos at first

Mikoy Morales admitted he initially didn't like Paul Salas for his best friend Mikee Quintos.

On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the "Maging Sino Ka Man" star explained he only wanted what's best for Mikee.

“Ang pinaka frustration ko lang doon, sa lahat nang pinagdaanan natin, all the things we grew from, babalik ka sa step 1 dahil sa taong ‘to?” Mikoy said, addressing Mikee.

[My frustration about that was you were willing to forget everything we've been through, all the things we grew from, you were willing to go back to step 1 just because of this person.]

"What about your progress? What about your development?" he added.

Mikee said he respected Mikoy's opinion, but at the beginning of her relationship with Paul, she said she "just had to try."

According to the actress, Mikoy eventually got to know Paul more when they worked together for "Lolong."

“Nagkasama kami sa [‘Lolong’], and then magka-room pa kami ni Paul,” Mikoy said.

“I got to know the guy, and noong nakilala ko na si Paul kung paano talaga siya as a person without Mikee in the picture, that’s when I realized na [okay naman pala siya],” he added.

Mikoy currently stars in the GMA Primetime Series "Maging Sino Ka Man" alongside David Licauco and Barbie Forteza.

In July, Mikee and Paul celebrated their second anniversary. They revealed their relationship last year.

Earlier today, the couple filed a complaint against a cryptocurrency group before the Makati City Prosecutor's Office after they were supposedly scammed out of P8 million, along with seven other victims.
