“Unang Hirit”has transferred to a new UH tambayan and what do you know? It's more modern, very bright, and backed up with cutting-edge technology.
The longest-running morning show in the country unveiled its new set on Monday's episode boasting the studio's new features including a 360-degree rotating platform, a graphic solution that can produce animations, and engaging LED walls and monitors.
The new studio was designed FX Designs, an Emmy-awarded US-based company that provides cutting edge technology for the world's top broadcasters. It's also been a newscast studio set of the year awardee.
“I think what makes it unique is the combination of both beauty and function,” FX Designs design manager and creative director Kevin Vickers said.
“It’s a beautiful set, very colorful, bright, modern,” he added. “I think it really reflects the personality in the studio and the personality of the people of the Philippines.”
According to Jasmine Ancheta, design principal of JAS Ancheta Interiors, the new design is modern-minimalist. "We wanted something different from what you had before. Something more modern, international. We did a modern-minimalist design and did specifications for the sofa, all the furniture, the lounge chairs, and accessories like coffee tables," she said.
