Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, Francine Diaz reveal which Kapuso artists they want to work with

Kapuso-Kapamilya crossover once again occurred at the ABS-CBN Ball!

With several GMA Network executives and Sparkle artists attending the event on Saturday, Cata Tibayan asked Kapamilya celebrities which Kapuso stars they want to work with.

Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano said they wish to work with Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.

"I'm such a huge fan of them. They're such an iconic couple," Belle said about DongYan in Cata's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday.

Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, meanwhile, hope to work with fellow Gen Z love team Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi.

Julia Barretto, who was with her boyfriend Gerald Anderson, said she wants to work with Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado.

"She's always been so nice and so sweet," Julie said about Jennylyn.

Among the Kapuso executives present at the ABS-CBN Ball were GMA Network chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, GMA Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group, and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, and Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo.

Will Ashley, who stars in "Unbreak My Heart," a collaboration project between GMA Network, ABS-CBN, and Viu Philippines, also attended the ball. "Eat Bulaga" host Cassy Legaspi appeared as Darren Espanto's date.

Aside from "Unbreak My Heart," several Kapuso-Kapamilya crossovers have been happening this year.

"It's Showtime" now airs on GTV, and several of its stars attended the GMA Gala 2023 along with ABS-CBN executives.

Kapuso artists have been guesting on "It's Showtime" and Ryan Bang also guested on "Bubble Gang."

Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera will also star in Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Rewind," a film co-produced by Star Cinema, APT Entertainment, and Agosto Dos Media.
