GMA Integrated News nominated as Top News Publisher at TikTok Awards Philippines 2023

GMA Integrated News has been nominated for the Top News Publisher award at this year’s TikTok Awards Philippines.

According to TikTok, the award aims to recognize top creators “who have made great impact" on the video-sharing platform from July 2022 to July 2023.

Other nominees for the award are News 5 and Philippine Star.

Meanwhile, GMA Network’s TikTok account was also nominated for the Breakthrough Entertainment Partner of the Year award alongside ABS-CBN and Netflix Philippines.

This is not the first time that the network has been acknowledged by the TikTok Awards.

In 2022, three of GMA Network’s shows were nominated for Top Media Publisher.

In October 2021, “24 Oras” made history as the first Philippine newscast to livestream on TikTok. It later reached a million followers just five months after its launch.

The TikTok Awards 2023 will stream live on the social media platform on September 30 at 10:45 p.m.
