'It's Showtime' hosts MC and Lassy on Vice Ganda: 'Kami yung legacy niya'

Vice Ganda, MC, and Lassy go way, way back.

In Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the "It's Showtime" mainstay hosts said they don't aim to be as famous as the Unkabogable Star because they are his legacy.

“Alam namin na sa isang kaharian, isa lang ang reyna. Kasi pag maraming reyna may mag aaway-away,” MC said.

“Hindi na kami ‘yung para maging heir [ni VIce] sa throne na ‘yun,” he said. “Siguro, kami na lang ‘yung legacy niya.”

Lassy chimed in and said he and MC are currently happy where they are in their careers.

“Masaya na akong ganito [kami],” he said.

Meanwhile, when asked what the two of them usually tell Vice in times of hardship, MC said it's to always fight no matter the circumstances.

“Lagi kang lalaban, no matter what,” MC said. “Kasi ang hirap pag nasa tuktok ka, maraming gustong bumato sayo.”

“Pwede kang mapagod, pwede kang magpahinga, pero ‘wag kang susuko,” Lassy added.

"It's Showtime" airs on GTV Mondays to Fridays at noon and Saturdays at 11:30.
