‘It’s Showtime’ hosts MC and Lassy reveal the only thing they fought about

Its showtime MC Lassy

MC and Lassy shared not once did they ever fight about money or a boy.

Instead, the two comedians said that instead, their friendship was put to the test because of work-related jealousy.

“Selos, actually, ‘yun ‘yung pinagmulan ng away. Sa work, Iba ‘yung sinama n’ya,” MC said on Wednesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

He recalled it made him ask, “Bakit s’ya ‘yung sinama mo, eh tayo ‘yung tandem talaga?”

“Eh kaya lang, syempre ‘pag bata ka pa, hindi mo pa naiintindihan na okay lang ‘yun, minsan meron tayong work na hindi sya kasama, para mag-grow di ba? Eh dati pag bata ka parang feeling mo ‘di n’ya ako sinama,’” he continued.

“‘Yun lang ang pinag-awayan namin,” MC said.

Lassy said that the fight happened over a phone call, with MC saying things like “Ang sakit-sakit ng ginawa mo! Bakit hindi ako sinama mo?”

“Sabi ko, ‘hindi nga ikaw eh. Siya eh, tsaka ‘yung budget, ito lang,’” Lassy said.

The duo then revealed they eventually solved their problem at the end of the day.

In the same interview, MC and Lassy acknowledged they have their own ways of making people laugh, which is why there is no such thing as a better comedian between them.

“May kanya-kanya kami, promise, Tito Boy. Alam ko laging paulit-ulit ‘tong sinasabi na ‘kanya-kanya kami.’ Siya kasi, magaling siya sa galawan. Ako, magaling sa kwento,” MC said.

The two also gave an impromptu act, showing Lassy’s talent for doing funny movements during comedic performances and MC’s skill in doing monologues.

MC and Lassy are among the hosts of “It’s Showtime,” which made its GTV debut on July 1 and became a top trending topic on Twitter.
