Chito Miranda bonds with BenCab: ‘Syempre kunwari cool lang ako’

Chito Miranda, Parokya ni Edgar lead singer, admitted that he was thrilled that he had the chance to speak with the one and only BenCab!

On Instagram, Chito shared a snap of himself with the National Artist- Benedicto Cabrera who is better known as BenCab.

“Tambay muna sa @bencabmuseum with Sir Ben Cab,” Chito wrote with a red heart emoji.

“Syempre kunwari cool lang ako pero sa totoo kilig na kilig ako nyan,” he said.

He also shared that he was able to ask BenCab a lot of questions, which he answered patiently, “taking his time na magkwento.”

“Nagtanong din sya about my music, and my songwriting process and syempre wala yata akong nasagot na matino,” the Parokya ni Edgar lead vocalist added.

“Saya lang,” Chito said.

BenCab is a painter greatly hailed as a master of contemporary Philippine art.

In 2006, he was awarded National Artist of the Philippines for Visual Arts (Painting).

Meanwhile, Chito joined SB19’s Stell, Billy Crawford, and Julie Anne San Jose as the coaches for “The Voice Generations,” the newest spin-off of the world's biggest singing competition. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
