Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Ruru Madrid and more renew contracts with Sparkle


Several artists of Sparkle GMA Artist Center, as well as new talents, have inked their contracts at the Signed for Stardom event at the GMA Network Center on Friday.

The event is dubbed the biggest contract signing event in showbiz this year with 48 artists present.

Those who signed with the management include Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Rocco Nacino, Khalil Ramos, Mavy Legaspi, Cassy Legaspi, Richard Yap, Paolo Contis, and Ruru Madrid.

Kapuso stars Andrea Torres, Andre Paras, Arra San Agustin, Shaira Diaz, Celeste Cortesi, Mike Tan, and Rita Daniela, who gave a surprise performance, also continue to be Sparkle artists.

Character actors who remain loyal to the Kapuso network are Martin Del Rosario, Ashley Rivera, Paul Salas, and Kristoffer Martin.

More established character actors who finally signed with Sparkle are Amy Austria, Maricar De Mesa, Archie Alemania, and Nadine Samonte.

Child actress Sienna Stevens, and rising stars Will Ashley, Bruce Roeland, Matthew Uy, Angel Leighton, AZ Martinez, Yvette Sanchez, and Shuvee Etrata also signed.

The management is now also home to new faces and voices with singers: Liana Castillo, John Rex, Timmy Albert, and Viana Ricafranca. Kapuso singers Hannah Precillas, Jessica Villarubin, and Garrett Bolden, as well as Riel, Mel, Lyra, and Dani of XOXO renewed their contracts. The singers treated attendees with quick song samples, whereas XOXO gave a performance of their latest single, "Paraiso."

Hosts and influencers MJ Ordillano, Maureen Schrijvers, Mica Salamanca, Ashley Sandrine Yap, and Janeena Chan are now also officially Sparkle talents.

Executives GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo; famed star-maker and Sparkle consultant Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan; Sparkle's Consulting Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Lawrence Tan, and the Sparkle team were present at the event.
