In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, David commended Argus for his wit and charm.
"Nakaaaliw sobra si Argus kasi parang alam mo 'yun, at five years old tapos ganun na siya katalino ang dami niyang sinasabi ang dami niyang tanong sakin, sobrang curious siya about life, tapos nakita ko na very bubbly siya," the Pambansang Ginoo said.
David also posed for photos with Argus, and netizens said that they looked like father and son!
In response, David said, "'Yun na nga e, practice nga daw e sabi nila. Nag-holding hands kami, lakad-lakad kami sa mall, parang ito ata 'yung future ko ah."

He also shared that Argus invited him to visit "It's Showtime."
"Actually, in-invite nga 'ko ni Argus e sabi niya sa 'kin, 'Kuya David, punta kang 'Showtime' bisitahin mo 'ko,' sabi ko, 'Sige basta ano, basta sasamahan mo 'ko,'" he said.
Argus is part of the "Isip Bata" segment of "It's Showtime," which airs on GTV every Monday to Saturday.
He also met David's on-screen partner, Barbie Forteza, when she appeared on the noontime show in July and asked the Kapuso Primetime Princess where "Fidel" was.
Fidel is David's character in the hit historical portal fantasy series "Maria Clara at Ibarra," which is now streaming on Netflix.
David currently stars with Barbie in "Maging Sino Ka Man," which airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras."
