EA Guzman opens up on why he took a break from doing gay roles

Is EA Guzman no longer interested in doing gay roles?

On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," EA admitted that he previously took a break from accepting projects where he has to portray a gay character.

"Before 'yun, Tito Boy. Kasi nung 2017, 'Deadma Walking,' after nun, parang napansin ko, parang nata-type cast ako so sabi ko, pahinga lang saglit," he said.

"And then, babalik pa rin naman ako, hindi ko sinasara 'yung pinto," he added.

In fact, EA is back to doing a gay role in his "Super Mamshie" sketch on "Bubble Gang."

"I'm looking forward na gumawa ulit po ng pelikula na kahit bading ako or teleserye man 'yan, I'll do it," he said.

EA's latest gay role was for the film "Deadma Walking" with Joross Gamboa.

He also starred in the 2016 movie "Working Beks" with John Lapus, TJ Trinidad, Joey Paras, and Prince Stefan.
