Barbie Forteza prepares for heavy 'Maging Sino Ka Man' scene in BTS clip

Barbie Forteza internalizes for 'Maging Sino Ka Man' scene in BTS clip

Barbie Forteza continues to showcase her exceptional acting skills, proving anew why she was dubbed the Kapuso Primetime Princess.

In the first week of her current series “Maging Sino Ka Man,” Barbie’s character, Monique, already showed intense emotions after she fell into a river while riding her motorcycle.

Given Monique’s strong personality, she was able to get herself out of the water despite her injured leg.

Following the intense scene, GMA Network shared a behind-the-scenes video of Barbie preparing herself for the shot.

Some crew members can be seen pouring water on the actress while she internalizes and gets herself ready for the heavy scene.

In just a few moments, Barbie had already started sobbing while her entire body, clothes, and shoes were getting completely drenched.

She was then assisted to the muddy part of the location, where she dropped herself and started filming the scene.

Barbie greatly impressed some netizens after they saw the clip.

“Barbie is indeed one of the greatest actresses of [GMA],” one user commented.

Another added, “[A]ng hirap pala maging artista.. ang galing niya pati ako nadala sa iyak niya."

Earlier, Barbie was commended by veteran actor ER Ejercito, who said he believes Barbie is the next Primetime Queen.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" is a remake of the iconic '90s film of the same name, which starred Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla. It is Team BarDa's return to GMA Telebabad, following their incredibly successful love team in the historical portal fantasy series "Maria Clara at Ibarra."

The special limited series airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also livestreamed on the GMA Network YouTube channel and GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream.
