'Royal Blood' reveals Gustavo Royales' killer, fans react to plot twist

Fans of the series "Royal Blood" had mixed reactions after its shocking plot twist was finally unveiled: Margaret (played by Rhian Ramos) was the one who killed Gustavo Royales!

Following the much-awaited reveal, some of its viewers excitedly shared that they guessed the killer's identity correctly, while others were saddened and felt pity for Margaret's suffering.

"I was so right all along! Margaret is the killer!" a viewer said.

"I am forever a Margaret Royales Apologist.  not in denial at all. I think it is genius that she is the one who offed Gustavo," another wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Rhian said that she was delighted when she was informed that her character was the culprit in the story.

"Yes, it's finally revealed, and I'm so happy actually nung nalaman ko na ako 'yung killer," Rhian said.

"Nag-last taping day na kami so we already know what's going to happen but we can't wait for you guys to see it kasi feeling namin it's gonna be something special," she continued. "Pero ang happy ko na ako 'yung killer kasi parang I felt like it brought my character full circle."

Rhian then teased that the series has yet to unfold an exciting part.

"Ni-reveal nga namin 'yung kung sino 'yung killer pero 'wag kayong masyadong makampante, 'wag kayong masyadong mag-relax kasi when it comes to the show of 'Royal Blood,' napakadaming twists and turns talaga and magtaka na kayo kung bakit ngayon pa lang ni-reveal namin 'yung killer tapos Friday pa 'yung ending namin," she said.

"Ibig sabihin marami pa 'yung mangyayari," Rhian added.

Just last month, it was revealed to the cast who the real killer was.

The character's identity remained a big secret after the cast signed a non-disclosure agreement.

"Royal Blood" airs weeknights at 8:50 p.m. on GMA. It also airs on GTV at 11:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and at 11 p.m. every Friday.
