Sugar Mercado opens up on Sexbomb's 'Eat Bulaga' departure

Sugar Mercado of the SexBomb Girls said she wasn't the reason why the famous girl group had to leave "Eat Bulaga."

On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Sugar said none of the SexBomb members were to blame for their departure from the noontime show.

"Hindi naman ako 'yung dahilan," Sugar said. "Lahat kami walang kinalaman, tapos ako 'yung napagbintangan [kasi ako na lang 'yung naiwan]."

"Hindi nila matanggap kasi ako daw dahilan bakit sila nawala eh hindi naman po ako 'yung may-ari ng 'Eat bulaga'," she added.

According to Sugar, when Jopay recently spoke about the issue, that was the only time her bashers stopped throwing hate messages her way.

Meanwhile, Aira Bermudez said the SexBomb girls still maintain a good talking relationship through their online group chats.

"Meron kaming mga group chat na talagang nag uusap kami, sila Rochelle especially, nagkikita kami lagi," Aira said.

Earlier this year, Rochelle said there was no conflict among SexBomb girls before debuting herself as a solo artist.

In February, the SexBomb Girls reunited for a Netflix ad.
