Dennis Trillo on his 'what if' in life: What if I were gay?

Dennis Trillo and Bea Alonzo's upcoming series, "Love Before Sunrise," will have you pondering different life "what ifs" following its plot.

In a media conference on Saturday, the lead actors were asked about their own "what ifs" in real life.

Bea confidently shared that she barely has any because she always gives her all in love.

"Hindi ako madalas mag-'what if' kasi pag nagmahal ako, binibigay ko nang buong-buo," she said.

Dennis, meanwhile, had an unexpected response that made the audience go crazy.

"Masyadong seryoso yata 'yung buhay pag-ibig, eh," he said. "Hirap kasi pag may 'what if' ka para kang may pagsisisi sa buhay eh na hindi mo nagawa eh di ba?"

"Siguro ang 'what if' ko ay what if kung naging bading ako sa totoong buhay?" Dennis said.

"Ang saya siguro nun di ba?" he followed.

Dennis played the role of a transgender spy in the 2004 film "Aishite Imasu 1941."

He also starred in the 2013 series "My Husband's Lover," where he played a gay role.

"Love Before Sunrise" follows the story of soulmates whose right love happens at the wrong time. It is a collaboration between GMA Network and Viu Philippines.

Joining Bea and Dennis in the cast are Andrea Torres, Sid Lucero, Nadia Montenegro, Sef Cadayona, Cheska Fausto, and Vince Maristela.

The much-anticipated series will start airing on September 25 on GMA Primetime.
