Bea Alonzo, Dennis Trillo admit there was ‘ilangan’ on first shooting day of 'Love Before Sunrise'

Bea Alonzo and Dennis Trillo’s series, "Love Before Sunrise," will be gracing our television screens soon!

The project marks their reunion, 20 years after they first worked together.

At a press conference on Saturday, Bea revealed that on their first shooting day, she had an uneasy feeling.

"‘Yung first day sa set namin, sa totoo, may ilangan," she said. "Ako, medyo naiilang ako kasi you had to do scenes na dapat kami na, nasa relationship na kami."

"So parang, at first, medyo mahirap s’ya… but then, we’re professional actors, so we got over that," Bea added.

On a brighter note, Bea said that it helped them in some way. 

"Kasi ‘yun nga, sabi ko kanina, may sense of [familiarity],'' she said. 

She continued, "So ‘yung tingin n’ya, ‘yung hawak n’ya, somehow I feel familiar."

The Kapuso actress also shared that Dennis’ "mysterious" side helped them.

"So, kahit papaano, I guess ‘yung mystery, kasi I think he’s very mysterious. I guess nakakatulong ‘yun in terms of like ‘yung ‘falling in love stage’ naming dalawa," she said.

Dennis agreed, saying that the uneasy feeling was inevitable.

"Siguro hindi mawawala ‘yung ilang talaga pero ako, noong first day sobrang ninenerbyos talaga ako," he said, sharing that he felt "starstruck" with Bea.

"Love Before Sunrise" is a collaboration between GMA Network and Viu Philippines. 

Joining Bea and Dennis in the cast are Andrea Torres, Sid Lucero, Nadia Montenegro, Sef Cadayona, Cheska Fausto, and Vince Maristela. 

The much-anticipated series will start airing on September 25 on GMA Primetime. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
