David Licauco admits feeling shy about going topless in front of Barbie Forteza in 'Maging Sino Ka Man'

David Licauco said he got shy about going topless in front of Barbie Forteza in one of the scenes in "Maging Sino Ka Man."

In a recent episode of "Updated with Nelson Canlas," the Kapuso heartthrob said he's not fond of posting topless photos on social media compared to when he was much younger.

“Actually, nahiya nga ako eh,” David said.

“Medyo nailang ako, tsaka syempre kaharap ko si Barbie, eh alam ko wholesome si Barbie eh,” he added with a laugh.

[I felt awkward, and of course I was in front of Barbie. I know she is wholesome.]

In the podcast, Nelson  asked Barbie about her reaction to David's topless scene.

“Alam ko naman kasi ‘to si David, very sensitive siya sa mga ganung bagay,” she said.

“Not unless kailangan talaga sa eksena, tsaka lang magpapakita ng katawan,” she added.

[I know David is very sensitive when it comes to those things. He will only show his body when it is really essential to the scene.]

"Maging Sino Ka Man" premiered on GMA Telebabad last Monday and immediately delivered heart-stopping action, with David playing Carding and wowing viewers with his acting chops.

The episode also revealed that Monique, an artist portrayed by Barbie, signs her artworks as "Dino," the alias she will use when she pretends to be a man.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" also stars Juancho Triviño, Jean Garcia, Tonton Gutierrez, Mikoy Morales, Rain Matienzo, Faith da Silva, E.R. Ejercito, Jeric Raval, and more.

The special limited series is an adaptation of the popular '90s film of the same name, which starred Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also livestreamed on the GMA Network YouTube channel and GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream.
