"Maging Sino Ka Man" is off to an explosive start!

The official hashtag of the pilot episode, #MSKMWorldPremiere, topped Philippine Twitter as the series made its premiere on Monday.

Team BarDa fans could not help but gush over Barbie Forteza and David Licauco's on-screen chemistry and bardagulan right on the very first episode.

Others fangirled over the duality of David's character Carding, a rough outlaw who has a soft spot for children.

Some viewers also praised a thought-provoking issue raised by the series through a scene between Monique (Barbie) and her mother Belinda, who is played by Jean Garcia.

Belinda noticed that Monique signs her artworks as "Dino" and asked her if it was difficult to sell art as a woman.

Barbie and David also got lauded for their acting—Barbie with her heavy drama scene with Jean and David with his heart-stopping action scenes.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" also stars Juancho Triviño, Tonton Gutierrez, Mikoy Morales, Rain Matienzo, Faith da Silva, E.R. Ejercito, Jeric Raval, and more.

The special limited series is an adaptation of the popular '90s film of the same name, which starred Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also livestreamed on the GMA Network YouTube channel and GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream.
