Lola Amour reacts to Michael V.'s 'Raining in Manila' parody
Lola Amour was flat-out flattered with Michael V.'s parody of their hit song "Raining in Manila" on Bubble Gang Sunday.
The band first took to Instagram Stories to laugh out loud along with everybody else, when Bitoy turned their popular song into "Waiting Here sa Pila."
They later reposted Bubble Gang's video of Michael V.'s performance and said "Bitoy the Genius! Such an honor!"
As though that's not enough, the band on Facebook also reposted Bubble Gang's video and thanked the Kapuso Comedy Genius — but not without ROLFing first.
"HAHAHHA," Lola Amour began. "Walang kupas Michael V ???? Salamat po!"
But here's the thing: Michael V. himself responded to Lola Amour! "Love you guys," Bitoy wrote in the comment section of their post, which only led Lola Amour to fanboy further.
"Love you sir!!! Sana makapag meet tayo soon!" The band replied.
Michael V. dressed up as Lolo Kanor on Sunday's Bubble Gang episode and spoofed Lola Amour's hit single "Raining in Manila" into "Waiting here sa Pila."
On YouTube, the video has already generated nearly 180K views within 24 hours of posting.
Michael V. received the same reaction from Ninong Ry, when Michael V. parodied him in an earlier Bubble Gang episode.
"Grabe yung feeling na ma-Bubble Gang ka!!!!" the food vlogger said as he shared a video of himself watching the segment on TV.
"Salamat idol Michael V," he added, tagging the Kapuso comedy genius.
Previously, Michael V. did a parody of "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" by Morissette Amon and "Uhaw" by Dilaw.
