Jean Garcia has gut feeling that 'Maging Sino Ka Man' could have extended run
Veteran actress Jean Garcia thinks that "Maging Sino Ka Man" will be more than just a special limited series.
On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the King of Talk asked Jean about her "gut feel" that the show will be extended.
"Feeling ko," she confirmed. "Iba 'yung kilig at iba 'yung feeling ko nung pinanood ko 'yung trailer namin saka 'yung AVP namin."
"Maging Sino Ka Man" stars the popular love team of Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, who first made everyone kilig as Klay and Fidel in "Maria Clara at Ibarra."
According to Jean, the show also improved on and expanded the story of the original '90s film, which starred Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.
The actress was also all praises for Barbie and David's performance and professionalism on the show.
"Acting-wise si Barbie maliit pa magaling na," she said. " Si David masipag, very hardworking. Kung meron mang kunwari sa acting may pagkukulang siya, ano siya, nagte-training siya."
"So medyo pagod si David talaga at willing siyang matuto," she added.
In the series, Jean will play Barbie's estranged mother who comes from a rich family. She elopes with a man who comes from poverty, gets a child with him, but she ends up leaving both of them behind.
"Maging Sino Ka Man" also stars Tonton Gutierrez, Juancho Triviño, Mikoy Morales, Faith da Silva, Rain Matienzo, Jeric Raval, ER Ejercito, and more.
The series will premiere on Monday, September 11, at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras."
