Boy Abunda says Jean Garcia's son Kotaro is ‘going to be a star’

Boy Abunda affirmed that Jean Garcia’s son, Kotaro Shimizu, has a bright future ahead of him!

On Thursday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the King of Talk complimented the young man, saying “I told Jean, and I want this on record, he is going to be a star.”

“Totoo. Gut-feel lang, oo. Tingnan natin, I mean, atsaka na natin pag-usapan si Kotaro because meron siyang sariling pangarap, may direksyon na gustong tahakin, and we wish him the best,” Boy said before proceeding with the “Fast Talk” segment.

The supportive mom thanked Boy for his praises.

As a form of advice to her 21-year-old son, Jean said, “Ang pangarap mo, ituloy mo lang, anak. Nandito lang ako.”

Jean usually expresses how fond she is of Kotaro on social media. During last year’s GMA Gala Ball, the actress flexed Kotaro as her “gwapo” date.

On top of his good looks, Kotaro is also quite talented! He was noticed by EXO's Kai in March after sharing his smooth dance moves on social media.

Kai liked his video, and Kotaro made sure to tag and thank him in the comments.

The mother-son duo also has their own take on the “Cuff It” TikTok dance trend.
