On Instagram, Thursday, the singer thanked Mayor Joy Belmonte for the opportunity to serve.

According to Ronnie, PLEB is a composed of five regular citizens who handle complaints against police officers.

"At PLEB, our objective is to create an environment where citizens' rights are respected while also ensuring that policemen are given due consideration without pre-judgment," he said.

"I am truly grateful for every opportunity to be of service to our country, especially to contribute to building a just society. Let's do this!"

Ronnie also shared a photo of PLEB in action, showing its members wearing judicial robes.

"Like a Judge, we will carefully listen to the complaint filed by Atty. Raymond Fortun how the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) handled the recent road mishap involving Mr. Wilfredo Gonzales and Mr. Allan Bandiola," he said.

Ronnie wears many hats aside from being a singer and public servant. He is a licensed pilot, a Philippine Army reservist, and a PhD student.
