Here's why Dion Ignacio changed his number after reconnecting with Aileen Sison

Among the things Dion Ignacio changed in his life after he rekindled relationship with his wife Aileen Sison was his phone number.

Earlier, Dion said that he “threw away” his old phone, but on Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Dion clarified that he only changed his number.

“Hindi naman tinapon eh, pero siguro ‘yun na nga, kasi answered prayer din ‘yung asawa ko eh,” he said.

[I didn't throw it away, but yeah, my wife is an answered prayed.]

Dion admitted he had a messy life and felt like he had no direction.

“Ta’s ngayon it, sabi ko, 32 na ako, kailangan seryoso na ako so, ‘yun, dumating siya sa buhay ko ulit,” he said.

[I said, I'm 32 years old. I need to straighten out my life. And then, she came into my life again.]

According to the Sparkle star, it's hard to make a clean sweep of his phone contacts. "Baka [mamaya], ‘Oh, sino yang nagte-text?’ Parang nagde-date pa lang kayo, sira ka na. So kaya dapat, nilayo ko na tapos nagpalit na akong number,” Dion said.

Dion and Aileen reconnected eight years after they broke up. Dion was 22 years old then. 

In 2021, he revealed they were already engaged and tied the knot shortly after the announcement. They have two children together.

Dion currently stars in “Royal Blood” and "Voltes V: Legacy" which air weeknights on GMA Telebabad.
