Mr. M on working with SB19's Stell: 'May aura syang maganda'

Renowned star maker and director Johnny Manahan, popularly known as Mr. M, was impressed with SB19’s Stell after working with him for the first time in “The Voice Generations.”

In an interview, Mr. M looked back on his first time meeting the P-Pop artist.

“Nung nakita ko si Stell, first time ko 'yun nakita eh, natauhan ako! May aura siya eh, may aura siyang maganda,” he told GMA News Online.

“Wala akong problema kay Stell, he’s very professional,” he added.

Mr. M also noted that Stell is quick-witted, especially when cracking jokes.

“Akala ko being the youngest guy sa grupo, baka sabi ko, ‘baka matameme to.’ But hindi. And of course, 'yung talent nya, ano? Hindi ko na sasabihin 'yun. Obviously, I recognize a major talent.”

Earlier, Chito Miranda also praised his fellow coach.

"He's such a revelation for me kasi ang pagkakakilala ko lang kay Stell is one of the members of SB19. I am familiar with SB19; I'm sobrang fan ng work nila, pero as individuals, I didn't know them," the Parokya ni Edgar lead vocalist said.

Chito and Stell are joined by Billy Crawford and Julie Anne San Jose as the coaches for "The Voice Generations," the newest spin-off of the world's biggest singing competition.

It also serves as Mr. M’s return to the director’s chair after a three-year break.
