Rufa Mae Quinto served as Herlene Budol's 'English teacher' and it's hilarious

From “Todo na ‘to!” to “To the max!”

Rufa Mae Quinto served as Herlene Budol’s English teacher in a recent vlog, as reported on “Unang Balita” on Friday.

As seen in a report, Rufa Mae turned into a mentor to help the actress and beauty queen with her English which she can also use in pageants.

Herlene read out some of Rufa Mae’s signature Tagalog lines, which the actress gamely translated into English.

Rufa Mae translated one of her catchphrases “Todo na ‘to” to “To the highest level” or “To the max.”

The two couldn’t help but laugh at themselves as well.

Rufa Mae also gave Herlene some profound advice which is to follow her heart and not mind the bashers. Herlene said that she would take these lessons with her, especially in pageants.

Rufa Mae returned to the Philippines this year after living in the United States amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. She signed with Sparkle GMA Artist Center in 2022.

She recently teased a new “Booba” movie.

Meanwhile, Herlene was crowned Miss Philippines Tourism at the Miss Grand International pageant in July. She was also named Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up.

Aside from pageantry, Herlene is the star of the GMA series, “Magandang Dilag.” —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
