Rob Gomez apologizes for saying he is single, introduces family to public

Rob Gomez has come clean that he is not actually single and in fact already has a family.

On Instagram, Sunday, Rob shared several photos of him, former beauty queen Shaila Rebortera, and their daughter Amelia.

"This is my why, my princess, my queen, my sunshine and my world. My choice every day, in this lifetime and the next," he wrote in the caption.

The actor also wrote a message for his family.

"I'm sorry I said yes to being single when I'm not. I promise to keep my promises to you this time. I love you and Amelia more than anything in the world!" he said.

"You are not an option for me to lose. I can't wait to have you both back in my arms," he added.

In an interview with "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Rob previously said he is single but he has someone.

According to a PEP.ph report, Shaila revealed that she and Rob have a child together shortly after the interview.

"I've always been told to wait for the perfect time to tell the world about you. However, I realized, there is no such thing as 'perfect time,'" she said on Instagram, sharing photos of their family of three.

"We only have one life to experience these moments and it is in our hands to make these moments perfect," the Miss Multinational Philippines 2021 added.

Rob currently stars on GMA Afternoon Prime series "Magandang Dilag" with Herlene Budol and Benjamin Alves. The series airs weekdays at 3:20 p.m. after "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap."
