Ruru Madrid travels back to 1995 in 'Video City' trailer
"Video City" is bringing on some major '90s nostalgia with its trailer!
The video opens Yassi Pressman trying to teach Ruru Madrid the "One Day, Isang Araw" children's song as they stare at the sea during sunset.
Ruru does not know the song, but he gets the hang of it soon enough.
Other throwback details include an internet cafe called "Taympers," the "Be Kind Please Rewind" sign from the Video City rental shop, and a poster of 1994 film "Kapantay Ay Langit" starring Richard Gomez and Sharon Cuneta.
At some point, Ruru finds a tabloid newspaper, where he learns the year: he just travelled back to 1995.
Dennis Padilla also appears in the trailer, asking Ruru why he keeps coming back to the past.
Produced by VIVA Films and GMA Pictures, "Video City" will be shown in cinemas on September 20.
Meanwhile, Ruru and Yassi also star together in upcoming GMA Public Affairs action series "Black Rider."
