Jeric Raval on real age: 'Baka bigyan ako ng role, naka-wheel chair na'

Jeric Raval was put on the spot Wednesday when Boy Abunda asked him what his real age was.

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the action star couldn't help but laugh at the question.

"Sasabihin ko talaga? Baka bigyan ako ng role, naka-wheel chair na," he began.

First saying he was on the same age range as the likes of Randy Santiago, Jeric narrated how he was already 27 years old when began his career in showbiz. "Pero syempre, ang press release, kailangan bata ka, so ginawa lang 18, 19," he explained.

That was back in 1990, when he auditioned to become a rapper in Octoarts, which incidentally had also just opened a film division. Things transpired the way they did and Jeric became an action star instead.

Anyway, when the King of Talk computed Jeric's age to be around 61-62, the action star nodded that yes he is, in fact, 62 years old.

Jeric will star in the much-awaited remake of "Maging Sino Ka Man," alongside Barbie Forteza and David Licauco. — LA, GMA Integrated News
