Vice Ganda figures in car accident, urges transport service company to help truck driver

Vice Ganda was involved in a car accident on Saturday after a truck driver accidentally hit multiple vehicles, including the one that the host was in.

On Monday's episode of "It's Showtime," Vice Ganda called on the transportation service company, Lalamove, to help the driver who works under their company.

"Naararo kami, apat kaming sasakyan kasi parang nakatulog 'yung driver, so wasak na wasak. So sana po tulungan n'yo 'yung driver," Vice said.

"Tsaka yung contractor, 'yung may-ari nung truck, sana po tulungan n'yo 'yung driver kasi naaawa rin ako dun sa driver kasi ang daming sasakyan 'yun, apat."

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, the accident took place at the corner of Katipunan Avenue and C.P. Garcia in Quezon City.

In a video uploaded online by witness Jeffie Bequillo, Vice was seen talking to the passengers from other cars, asking if they were OK.

Jeffie said that the vehicles were making a U-turn when they were hit by the truck.

Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt in the accident.

Meanwhile, Lalamove said in a statement that they have already coordinated with the truck driver's operator and that they are cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

They also thanked Vice for the star's concern for those involved, including the truck driver.
