Rocco Nacino recalls challenging taping in UAE for ‘The Missing Husband’
“The Missing Husband” star Rocco Nacino just shared how challenging it was to shoot scenes in another country.
In a media conference, Rocco told GMA News Online that flying all the way to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to shoot scenes for "The Missing Husband" took a toll on him.
“Si Yasmien Kurdi, sanay na yan eh, ako hindi,” he admitted.
“Iba yung pawis ko don, iba yung pagod ko, goes to show mahirap nga mag-shoot sa ibang bansa kasi dito kaya ng full prod at doon medyo tulungan kami,” Rocco said.
“At the same time, kami ang nakakaalam dapat, kami memorized namin dapat yung mga continuity namin and everything so dun, kailangan tulong-tulong talaga para ma-pull off namin mga eksena,” he added.
Rocco will headline the upcoming action suspense drama series as he gives life to the character Anton, an OFW in Qatar who was eventually scammed after an investment opportunity.
In the same conference, Rocco likened himself to his character when it comes to being resilient.
“Pagiging resilient din, doing good, and being on the good side na dapat matama natin ‘to lahat. Siguro ako, in a way, I want to do good with everything I’m doing sa ngayon kasi nga pamilyado na nga, iba na yung mga decision-making ko,” Rocco shared when asked what are his similar personality traits to the character.
He continued, “Dito, as like Anton, he wants to bring that power back para maibalik nya yung pera sa mga tao, para sa mga na-scam kasi gusto nya mamuhay in peace eh. Kaya, that person who wants to do good, I guess I can relate to that.”
Rocco co-stars with Yasmien Kurdi, Jak Roberto, Sophie Albert, Joross Gamboa, Nadine Samonte, Shamaine Buencamino, Michael Flores, Maxine Eigenmann, Cai Cortez, Bryce Eusebio, and Patricia Coma.
Directed by Mark Reyes, “The Missing Husband” will begin airing on GMA Afternoon Prime and Pinoy Hits on August 28, Mondays to Fridays at 4:05 p.m.
