Max Eigenmann on her family: 'I'm proud to be part of this legacy'

If you're part of a family distinguished as the Eigenmanns, would you find a career in showbiz easy or difficult?

"The Missing Husband" star Max Eigenmann addressed this question on Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

"It's neither easy [nor] hard because my family has always made sure to make each other feel we are our own person in terms of our careers," she said.

"This is kinda funny pero 'pag magkakasama kami hindi talaga namin pinag uusapan 'yung trabaho," she added.

Max is the daughter of the late Mark Gil and the sister of Gabby Eigenmann, Andi Eigenmann, and Sid Lucero. She is also the niece of the late Cherie Gil.

Other members of their family include Michael de Mesa, Ryan Eigenmann, and Geoff Eigenmann.

Her grandparents are veteran actors Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil.

"I'm proud to be an Eigenmann because I love my family and I'm proud to be part of this legacy that my grandfather had started building a long time ago," Max said.

Max plays Leila Rosales, the sister of Anton Rosales (Rocco Nacino) in "The Missing Husband."

The GMA Afternoon Prime series will premiere on August 28 at 4:05 p.m. after "Magandang Dilag."
