Jak Roberto feels sad about fans' shipping wars

Jak Roberto does not feel annoyed or irritated about fans who continue to ship his girlfriend Barbie Forteza and her love team David Licauco.

On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Jak said that he feels sad instead when things escalate into shipping wars.

"Nakakalungkot lang po kasi may mga comments na parang pine-personal na. Minsan nakakapagsabi na ng hindi magandang salita," he said.

Jak said he understands that as an actor he is a public figure and he also understands the feelings of fans towards their idols.

"Nalulungkot lang ako sa iba na sana maintindihan nila 'yung trabaho tsaka sa personal na buhay," he said.

Tito Boy also asked Jak whether he and Barbie set some boundaries to protect their relationship when they act with different partners.

"Wala po talaga kaming pakielaman sa trabaho po. Kumbaga parehas po kaming aktor, pero pagdating sa trabaho, trabaho po. Pagdating sa love life, love life," he said.

In fact, Jak said he has never felt jealous or insecure at all in the six years that he and Barbie have been together so far.

"Hindi Tito eh, kaya siguro naging professor ako ng anti-selos class," he quipped.

Jak said the "anti-silos" memes probably began during the GMA Gala 2023 when he, Barbie, and David walked separately down the red carpet.

Fans got amazed that he seemingly never gets jealous over Barbie and David starring in projects together.

Jak was a huge sport over the memes, even jumping on the bandwagon himself by holding anti-silos classes with his "The Missing Husband" co-stars.

The trend was so popular that even Dennis Trillo tried doing Jak's anti-silos dance!

Jak also brought the his anti-silos class at Jose Rizal University during a Sparkle event.
