Ahead of 50th anniversary in showbiz, Bong Revilla teases upcoming specials on GMA

A few weeks before he celebrates his 50th anniversary in showbiz, Sen. Bong Revilla Jr. said that he has an upcoming surprises that his fans should watch out for.

According to Lhar Santiago’s report on "24 Oras," Friday, the senator will have a double celebration in September because he will also turn 57 in September.

“Meron tayong specials na mapapanood n'yo sa GMA, to be announced soon kung anong oras, anong araw 'yun, anong date. Ang punong abala diyan, si Lani,” Bong said referring to his wife Lani Mercado.

Bong is currently starring in the hit comedy-action series “Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis,” which will air its final episode on Sunday.

Bong said that the production prepared surprises for the finale.

“Makikita n'yo kung gaano katindi ang bakbakan diyan. May mga eroplano pa na eksena diyan at may mga matitinding action stars na nakasama natin,” he said.

The series will have a second season.

“Syempre natuwa ako, natuwa 'yung mga kasamahan natin. akala nila ‘uy, bala wala yata tayong season two, ah’," Bong said.

"Pero nakikita naman natin, because matataas ang ratings natin at laging full-load ng commercials, natutuwa ako sa lahat ng mga sumuporta,” he added. —Carby Basina/NB, GMA Integrated News
