Heart Evangelista's dream role is 'something that would challenge me and break me'
Heart Evangelista has played a diverse set of characters throughout her 26-year showbiz journey, including a dwarf, a struggling OFW, and a fashion socialite.
Her favorite series she's worked on include "Codename: Asero," "Dwarfina," "Luna Mystika," "My Korean Jagiya," and "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon."
But according to the Kapuso actress and style icon, she hopes to have a challenging role where she can break all of her barriers.
"I want a role that I've been preparing for all my life to give me a reason why marami akong pinagdaanan personally. And I just want to use all of that for like a one-time big-time role," Heart answered GMA News Online in an interview before her contract renewal with Sparkle.
Heart also hopes to use these experiences as an actor's "hugot," to bring a character to life.
"It shouldn't have to do anything about my life, but just you know, something that would challenge me and break me," the artist said.
Heart most recently starred in the Kapuso series "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon." She also appeared in the international film "The Wedding Hustler" and the Netflix reality show "Bling Empire."
Aside from working as an actress, Heart is a global fashion icon, fashion week mainstay, and visual artist.
